To make a house a home, we firmly believe that you have to get your kitchen right. Whether it’s a space for big family meals, kitchen discos, working from home or perfecting your culinary and baking skills – the kitchen really is the heart of the home. So when our owners, Alison and Mike Reuben wanted to update their kitchen – our talented team jumped at the chance to help!

Like many of our customers, Alison and Mike wanted a contemporary kitchen but also wanted to keep it warm and comfortable. With a big family, the space needed to be functional but also a perfect place to entertain, relax, watch a film and enjoy a glass of wine. A light, airy space was requested and lots of kitchen gadgets for Mike as the main chef in the house! Below shows the kitchen before the makeover and the work in progress.

One of the first things on the shopping list for Alison and Mike was a Quooker tap, which gives boiling, still, and sparkling water all in one. A Quooker tap is fantastic for space-saving and beautifully filtered water.

Design highlights include stunning two-tone cupboards, a space-saving tamber unit, self-cleaning oven, wine fridge, hidden waste disposal, and a stunning central island in Carerra Quartz. A large cupboard on the right also hides a chef’s dream larder.

The beautiful media area below is also a joy and a lovely place to sit and unwind (while Mike cooks!). The ambiance is warm and inviting and a sofa supplied by Lana Filippova Interiors, a fireplace under the TV and lots of storage complete the look and the transformation is complete.

The Bluebell team not only designed and made the bespoke scheme, but they also planned all the lighting design. Our dedicated fitters finished the project with their awesome attention to detail to ensure the little touches are perfect
